Each year gifted students from all of GMSD's schools come together to share their research at the Envisions Expo! This event allows students to explore their own interests, sharpen their public speaking skills, and fuel their creativity. This year, topics studied included space pollution, the history of treehouses, dreams of interior design and entrepreneurship, and capybaras.

Kindergarten students and fifth grade students at Farmington are getting to explore the adventure of reading together! In our Book Buddies program, fifth grade students act as tutors with the kindergarteners and help them to perfect their sight words. 

Book Buddies is so much more than just reading. Our fifth grade Falcons are able to give their younger schoolmates the encouragement they need to build their confidence not only in reading, but in all of their academic pathways! 

Farmington Elementary's Falcon Footlights Theater program sparks creativity and confidence through the performing arts. Students have the opportunity to showcase their talents on stage, learning the fundamentals of acting, stage design, and production. By participating in school performances, our young thespians develop teamwork, public speaking skills, and a love for storytelling, making the arts a vibrant part of their education. 

In recent years Falcon Footlights have put on exceptional productions including Beauty and the Beast Junior, Matilda Junior, and High School Musical Junior.
