December 2024-- Ten incredible elementary students have been selected for the All-State Tennessee Treble Honor Choir, one of the most prestigious music groups in the state for elementary students.

Farmington Elementary School invites families to the Family Literacy Night Open House on November 21, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Enjoy the book fair, visit classrooms, meet teachers, and pick up free books outside the library.

November 2024 - Farmington Elementary celebrated Veterans Day with a heartfelt program organized by music teachers Amy Assad, Derek Brookshire, and Taylor Gibson, bringing together students, staff, and veterans for a meaningful tribute. The event featured student speeches, choir performances, and a moving rendition of "Taps," honoring the sacrifices of veterans and instilling gratitude within the school community.

November 2024--The Germantown Municipal Council (GMC) PTO has launched its Art and Writing Contest with the theme “What Are Your Big Dreams?” Students can submit original entries in either Art or Writing categories, following specific guidelines and length requirements based on their grade level.

October 2024 - Farmington Elementary's annual Falcon Fest was a resounding success, bringing together families, students, and staff for a day of fun activities that supported the PTO. Highlights included carnival games, musical demonstrations by the Houston Middle School band, and entertaining teacher fundraising activities. The event fostered community spirit with a silent auction, food trucks, and booths from local businesses, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

October 2024 - Farmington Elementary hosted a Faculty Storybook Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest where students voted for their favorite decorated pumpkin by donating one dollar. All proceeds supported hurricane victims in East Tennessee, teaching students about kindness and helping others in need.
