Attendance & Commitment
By applying for the crew of Elf Jr., students and families acknowledge the importance of consistent attendance. Crew members are expected to attend all assigned rehearsals and performances. Students may request to miss up to two rehearsals by arranging those dates in advance with the directorial team. All dress rehearsals and performances are mandatory. Students in grades 2–8 will be required to pay a $60 crew fee, which covers costumes (where applicable), t-shirts, and scripts (where applicable). Middle and high school students may count rehearsal hours toward service hour requirements, and high school students will also receive a complimentary crew t-shirt.

Crew Position Responsibilities & Calendar Commitments

How will crew members be chosen?

Crew members will be chosen based on a combination of teacher recommendations, student applications, and available space in each role. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate responsibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. For Front of House positions, priority will be given to siblings of cast members in grades 2–3 and to students who auditioned but were not cast. Selections will also be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis, with teacher scores and past experience guiding final decisions. Our goal is to build balanced, dependable crews that give as many students as possible a meaningful theater experience!

CREW APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 31.  THOSE SELECTED WILL BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL & TEXT ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS--SO ACT FAST!
