Title I School-Parent Compact

We are excited to welcome you and your child to the 2024-2025 school year at Farmington Elementary
School! As a Title I school, we are committed to providing every child with a high-quality education.
Through Title I funding, we receive additional resources to support academic achievement and provide
equitable opportunities for all students.

At Farmington Elementary, we believe that education is a partnership between the school, parents, and
students. We all have a role to play in ensuring your child's success. Here are the responsibilities we
expect from each party:

School Responsibility
      ● We will provide a high-quality curriculum and instruction that aligns with state standards.
      ● We will communicate regularly with families about your child's progress and offer a supportive
         learning environment.
      ● We will provide additional instructional support, enhance curriculum, and offer family engagement
         opportunities through Title I funding.
      ● We will encourage family engagement through workshops, activities, and resources to support
         learning at home.
Parent Responsibility
      ● Please monitor your child's attendance and ensure they arrive at school on time.
      ● Communicate with teachers regularly to stay informed about your child's academic progress and
         any concerns you may have.
      ● Provide a learning environment at home that supports your child's education, including a quiet
         space for reading and talking.
      ● Attend family engagement events to stay involved in your child's education and build a strong
         partnership with the school.
Student Responsibility
      ● Talk with family and loved ones about what I learned and experienced at school each day.
      ● Bring home my Wednesday Folder and show family and loved ones what my teachers send
         home to share.
      ● Be kind to my fellow Farmington Falcons!

We value your partnership and are here to support you and your child. If you have any questions or
concerns, please reach out to us. Thank you for your dedication to your child's education.
